We have an opening for a HVAC Sales/System Designer. Your job would be to form a positive relationship with each customer to recommend and sell heating and air conditioning products to leads and current customers. Some experience is needed, because we want you to get trained on our processes, and have you consulting with our customers ASAP.
The Job:
• Manage prospects, leads, appointments, and persistent follow-up to build and maintain relationships with clients to foster sustained business growth
• Identify potential customers, understanding their requirements and recommending the best HVAC products and services
• Establish customer rapport by consulting on the superior quality products/services we offer
• Make in-person calls to residences and businesses throughout the Knoxville area to assess and then recommend solutions
• Consult and then present accurate and complete sales proposals with a customer-focused approach
• Complete reports as necessary to track sales information, updated in the CRM Program
• Help facilitate post-sale transactions through equipment installation by leading the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicate well with home and property owners to convey any information to appropriate staff, while facilitating resolution of all requests and questions
• Participate in weekly sales meetings
• Participate in training on the latest industry technologies and advancements
• Maintain professional attitude at all times
You Provide:
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and technology
• Ability to work after hours, occasional weekends, and with short notice to match customer availability
• Knack for establishing trust, showing empathy, and providing excellent service to foster long-term customer loyalty
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent and clear in-person, phone, and written communication skills
• Aptitude for excellent customer service
• Proven capability for sales techniques, prospecting and lead generation, negotiations and closing deals
• Willingness to climb ladders, traverse through attics and crawlspaces while taking notes and photos to assess and document current HVAC equipment
• Proficient understanding of Office and CRM software
• Desire to do quality work and provide great customer service
• Awesome attitude and work ethic
• Two years’ experience in a similar sales role within the trades industry
